# (AU) What timezone is the platform based on?

## This article provides information about Blueberry's GMT/UTC offset and how it affects trading times.

Blueberry trading servers are set to New York close time. This means that **00:00 platform time coincides with 5:00 pm New York time**.

 

The platform server time is set at GMT+2 when New York observes Eastern Standard Time and changes to GMT+3 when New York observes Daylight Savings Time.

 

For non-US time zones, their local daylight savings changes will affect the session times relative to platform server time.

 

When public holidays are scheduled, clients will be given at least 24 hours to notify them of affected instruments and their adjusted session times.
