# Connection to the server is slow

## This article provides solutions for resolving slow server connection issues on Blueberry trading platforms.

Blueberry servers are located in London. If you are far from London, you’ll likely get a slower connection or higher ‘ping’. You’ll see this when you click on the connection status bar at the bottom right of your MT4/5.

MT4/5 automatically selects the best server for your location, but you can also manually choose the one with the fastest connection (lowest ping). The connection quality can also depend on the speed of your **local network**, so you might want to ensure that you are on a fast internet plan.

 

A response rate of about **400 ms is rather decent** for manual trading. However, if you are using an autotrading or copytrading EA, you might benefit from a faster connection, and we recommend [getting a VPS](https://blueberrymarkets.com/trading/forex-vps/) if you are far from our servers.
